As a Physics Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students during their A-level studies. You will assist them in developing key subject knowledge, critical thinking skills, and exam techniques. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing individual and group academic support to students studying at A-level.Physics
- Leading tailored revision sessions and academic workshops to boost student engagement and understanding.
- Working closely with teaching staff to track progress and identify areas for development.
- Helping students to develop essential study and revision skills to enhance their learning experience.
- Offering one-on-one mentoring for students requiring additional academic support in Physics.
Physics Academic Mentor
- On track for a 2:1 or 1 Class degree in Physics from a top 25 UK University.st
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.
- A passion for education and aspirations towards a future career in teaching
- The ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
- Previous experience in teaching or tutoring is advantageous but not essential.
