We are looking for Tender & Calculation Expert with the option to work fully remote within Germany.

The Tender & Calculation Expert will be responsible for evaluating incoming data of the tendering process across the CE CrS region. This role requires expertise in preparing competitive bids, analyzing tender requirements, and ensuring compliance with client specifications while maximizing profitability and securing long-term contracts. A key responsibility is the cost estimation on regional level.

Tender Management:

• support the end-to-end tender process, including bid preparation, pricing strategies, and submission
• analyse tender documents and client requirements to develop comprehensive and competitive proposals
• ensure timely and accurate submission of all tender documents in compliance with client specifications

Pricing & Cost Analysis:

• regional calculation of NKAM and IKAM tenders
• strong communication with regional cost estimators
• develop pricing models that balance competitiveness with profitability

Client Engagement:

support post-tender reviews with sales teams and clients to gather feedback and improve future tender submissions

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• work closely with finance, production, supply chain, quality assurance, sustainability teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with tender requirements
• support the discussion of calculation data with finance and supply chain in more detail

Reporting & Analysis:

• prepare regular reports on tender activity, success rates, and financial impact for senior management
• support the analysis of tender outcomes to refine strategies and improve future bid success rates

Tender process Improvement:

support further development of the regional tender management process together with sales leads, finance and plant calculations teams to foster best practices and improve and develop the processes and tools

• 5+ years of experience in tender management or sales within the packaging industry
• experienced calculator
• a plus: strong understanding of Kama, WPPro or CRM and other tender management systems
• commercial or technical high school Dimploma (HAK, HTL, University)
• strong understanding of the tendering process and ideally in packaging industry dynamics
• financial acumen and experience with cost analysis and pricing strategies
• good technical understanding on process and materials
• analytical mindset and solution-oriented attitude
• willingness to travel in the Central Europe region for tender needs and customer negotiations if needed
