Devscribe is an AI-powered platform that automates API documentation, allowing developers to ship projects faster, saving companies millions of dollars. We offer an out-of-the-box solution that helps companies quickly create beautiful and easy to read documentation that their customers will appreciate.

Our team is currently made up of two co-founders, Gianni and Sam. We got accepted into the Cal Poly Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summer Accelerator program and are looking for interns to help build and grow Devscribe very quickly. Although this is an internship position, we are open to extending job opportunities after the summer if we see a fit.

About the role:

- Internship for the 2025 summer.

- This role will be from June 18th, 2025 to Sept 5, 2025 at the Cal Poly CIE Hothouse, located in downtown SLO, or remote. (We are willing to adjust the dates depending on applicants requests)

- You will receive 4 units of course credit towards your California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications:

- Ideally, 1+ years of contributing to new and/or current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience but not required.

- Good amount of experience with full stack engineering and creation of scalable web applications.

- Experience with React and Python backends.

- Knowledge about Git.

- Willing to pivot quickly.

- Looking for a great listener, but also someone who is willing to give input they see fit.

- If you don't meet all of the qualifications don't worry, we're far more interested in someone who has solid fundamentals, and can learn quickly as that's a far better indicator of someone's value as an engineer.

Responsibilities:

- You will be working directly with our lead engineer and co-founder building out the functionality of generating the API docs.

- Work on building out our vision for MCP Servers within devscribe.

- Build out the backend of Devscribe and monitor bugs and issues.

- Build out new features such as a Text Editor and CI/CD integrations

- You will work building out our release notes automation functionality.
