In our “Special Task” department, you will play a key role in coordinating technical incidents and decommissioning old turbines – with a focus on quality, structure, and communication.

  • Coordination and facilitation of serious incidents within the Vestas organization
  • Development and implementation of standardized procedures for handling major incidents
  • Establishment and further development of the decommissioning (turbine dismantling) area
  • Project planning, management of external service providers, quality assurance, and ensuring margins
  • Development of standards, processes, and best practices
  • Interface management between internal and external partners
  • Customer communication and appointments as part of project management tasks

Your Profile

  • At least 5 years of experience in operational service at Vestas is helpful (not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of Main Component Exchange and uptower repair favourable (not mandatory)
  • Experience in managing technical projects
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Salesforce and SAP
  • Very good German and English skills (at least B2 level)
  • Proficient in conveying information, demonstrating confidence, and managing tasks efficiently
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 30%)

Additional Information

This position can be based in Berlin, Hamburg, Rheine, or Husum. You will report directly to the Senior Manager Special Task.
